Simon Johnson is in China for the repeat of the FA Cup Final at the famous Bird's Nest stadium, having attended pre-match press conferences with Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte.
Wenger provided an injury update for his squad, with rumours of a virus hampering his players, before predicting a not-so-friendly friendly clash.
The real headlines came from Conte's press conference. The Chelsea manager spoke highly and positively about new signing Alvaro Morata before underlining his stance on the ostracised Diego Costa.
Despite the striker's claims on the contrary, Conte says a decision was made in January to sell Costa in the summer.
A big-money bid was rejected from a Chinese Super League club in the winter window and coincided with Costa struggling in front of goal until the final weeks of the title-winning season.
