Olly Murs has revealed that his wife Amelia Tank is pregnant with their first child.

The Heart Skips A Beat singer, 39, and his bodybuilder other half, 31, took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to share the exciting news and show off her blossoming baby bump.

Dressed in Christmas knitware, an excited Murs can be seen proudly holding up a photo of an ultrasound scan while pointing at Tank's bare midriff.

"Baby Murs due 2024," he wrote in the accompanying caption, followed by a baby, bottle and yellow heart emoji.

Their celebrity friends were quick to offer their congratulations and well wishes in the comments section.

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Dianne Buswell wrote: "congrats guys" while TV presenter Davina McCall exclaimed: "Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy".

Radio presenter and singer Ronan Keating simply replied with a clapping hands emoji while others joked that Murs should "name the baby Chelsea" in reference to his beloved football club.

The couple's baby news comes five months after they tied the knot in a three-day festival themed wedding in July.

Following their nuptials, Essex-born Murs made no secret of his desire to become a dad.

The former X Factor finalist told Hello! Magazine: "We’re ready to have our own little Murs running around.

"It’s so special that we’ll be able to take our kids to Osea Island one day and say, 'This is where we got married'".

Meanwhile, in a different interview with OK! Magazine, he said: "I’m not sure I’m going to go for six kids, but of course I’d love to have children."
