Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams has compared the Celebrity Big Brother house to prison.

Adams – who previously referred to the show as Celebrity Big Bully – praised her co-star Coleen Nolan for dealing with the “aggressive” characters in the house.

Speaking at the National Television Awards she told Huffington Post: “She’s in Holloway prison… I mean Big Brother.

“I think she’s handling it well. She’s coming out a little bit more now, which is good. But she’s just being quite measured.

“You can’t win with those guys [she’s in there with], the ones who are really out there and aggressive.”

Nolan is currently enjoying her second stint on the show and viewers have watched as she broke down on being voted two-faced and has most recently been embroiled in a feud with Spencer Pratt.

Nadia Sawalha said she was concerned for Nolan returning to the show as it has changed drastically since her first stint as a housemate.

“I think what happened to Coleen – and this is why I was worried about her going back in – is that when she went on it [the first time] it was still a really fab place, where you hung out and chatted,” she said.

“I didn’t want to say it to her before she went in, but I thought, ‘It has changed.’

“Now it’s about finding what your weakness is and twisting it. So I was worried about her going in.”

It is not the first time the Loose Women panellists have feared for Nolan.

Adams said she was left ‘heartbroken’ after Nolan broke down on being deemed the most fake by the public, and accused show bosses of pushing housemates “to the edge”.
