Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t resist poking fun at her friend Emma Stone as Jimmy Kimmel cracked a joke about last year’s Oscars mix-up.

Stone and the cast of La La Land stood to take to the stage to pick up Best Picture at the 89th Academy Awards, before awkwardly being told Moonlight had won.

Kimmel made a gag about the historic blunder at last night’s ceremony, warning nominees to not stand too quickly.

He said: “It’s a great honour to be invited back for a second time.

“Some of you will be going home tonight with an Academy Award, what can be better than that?

“This year, when you hear your name called, don’t get up right away, give us a minute, we don’t want another thing.”

Lawrence saw the funny side and took the opportunity to roast her friend on camera.

The Hunger Games star pointed to Stone as she laughed in her face.

Despite not being nominated for an award, Lawrence won over viewers with her antics at last night’s bash, which saw her juggle a glass of wine while leaping over seats at the Dolby Theatre.

Lawrence couldn’t stop smiling as she successfully managed to avoid spilling a drop of wine before catching up with stars including Woody Harrelson and Sir Steven Spielberg.

Her “peak Jennifer Lawrence” antics didn’t go unnoticed by viewers who praised her ballsy balancing act.
