Gifty Louise has hinted that she has plans to move to the US following her surprise departure from The X Factor.

The wannabe star, who didn’t hide her feelings about being booted off the show on Sunday, has said that LA is ‘calling’ her name.

After judges Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger all voted for her to leave at the weekend, saving Four of Diamonds in the sing-off, the singer could be taking her talents Stateside.

Replying to a fan who wrote that it was time to leave ‘#BreXitFactor Britain and take your undoubted talent where it will be better appreciated’, Gifty wrote:

“LA is calling my name, it's beautiful out there.”

Viewers of the ITV show were left shocked at the weekend when the singer was eliminated from the competition, despite being one of the favourites to win.

Speaking about her departure, the 20-year-old said: “I feel like the judges had already made up their mind.”

“I feel like I was consistent every single week, but I wasn't confident about the song choice."

“I didn't feel too great about doing a third Fifth Harmony song, I was worried it would be too predictable.”

Her mentor Simon Cowell, who accidently opted to send her home on Sunday night, admitted that he was embarrassed by the ‘horrible’ mistake.

“It was humiliating. That's the nature of live TV but it was horrible,” he said at the Pride of Britain awards.

"People should have voted for her that's the way it goes.”
