The devastated family of a man shot dead in Tottenham say they “need to know” what happened as police renew their appeal to find his killers.

Talip Guzel, 33, was gunned down metres from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on White Hart Lane at 11.30pm on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination held at Haringey Mortuary gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound.

Police arrived to the shooting at the junction with Pretoria Road, to find Mr Guzel with multiple bullet wounds.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died a short time later.

Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist crime team are investigating.

DCI Dave Whellams, said: “We need to hear from anyone who was in the area of Pretoria Road last Sunday night and is yet to come forward.

“Talip’s family has been left devastated, and they need to know what happened.
