Koenigsegg Agera RS – blink and it’s gone

Well that didn’t take long to sell out

We know that anything from Koenigsegg is going to be fast, but the Agera RS has exceeded all expectations. The model has gone from 0 to 25 in just 10 months.

That means that the entire run of 25 cars has now been placed, with happy owners coming from all over the world, from Singapore to Saudi, and from the UK to the UAE. That makes it the fastest selling car the Swedish maker has ever produced.

The fastest selling car the Swedish maker has ever produced.

The Agera RS was first shown to the public at the Geneva motor show last year. Some owners received their cars soon after that, but the final deliveries will be next year. Lucky owners will have the pleasure of living with a hypercar putting out 1144bhp and 944lb ft of torque thanks to a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V8. Combine that with a kerb weight of only 1395kg and it’s easy to see how it can get from rest to 60mph in just 2.9sec.

Koenigsegg call the Agera RS ‘a true pinnacle project’ and it’s hard to disagree.
