Jason Gardiner throws MORE shade at Gemma Collins ahead of her Dancing On Ice return as he compares her to 'a refrigerator'

The judge channelled Mariah Carey as he claimed he "doesn't know" the GC "at all"

Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner reignited his war of words with former contestant Gemma Collins by referring to her as “a refrigerator” ahead of the show’s grand final.

In an interview with This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, the choreographer took the chance to throw yet more shade at the TOWIE star, who memorably accused him of “selling stories” about her in an explosive on-air rant.

The presenters asked Gardiner whether he was “looking forward” to past contestants returning to the show for the final on Sunday, before Schofield added: “Gemma’s back!”

The judge didn’t miss a beat as he feigned ignorance, asking: “Who?”

Schofield then clarified that he was referring to “the GC,” prompting Gardiner to hit back with a savage response, telling the host: “Oh – I thought that was a refrigerator. No.”

His biting comment caused the presenters to fight back laughter, as Schofield reminded Gardiner that he and Collins seemed to make peace when she was eliminated from the show.

“You made friends on the last show – she said you were friends!” he said.

“She said it,” Gardiner fired back, adding: “Look, I don’t hold a grudge. I don’t really know the woman at all.

“She falsely accused me of something, well, so be it but I’ve moved on, life goes on and there’s more important things to be worried about.”

Collins previously revealed that she “regrets” exchanging harsh words with Gardiner, but felt like she had to “stand [her] ground” after she was left “embarrassed” by “body shaming” comments.

“People are cruel, and I think that’s why I did stand my ground with Jason,” she said.

“There are lots of girls out there that are bigger than me and don’t feel confident. I had to show people it is hard, but I’m going to get through it.”
