Gemma Collins appears to have forgiven James Argent for claiming she has “more rolls than Greggs” after the pair were spotted dining out in Paris.

The reality TV couple split last week after Argent shared a video of Collins snoring on Instagram which resulted in her chucking him out of their Essex home and hiring a removal van to transport his belongings back to his parents’ house.

Argent then sent a slew of fat shaming messages, something he now “deeply regrets”.

But the pair appeared to be working on their tumultuous relationship as they enjoyed a romantic trip to the French capital. They were pictured tucking into afternoon tea at the Four Seasons George V Hotel.

An insider told MailOnline that there were “absolutely no signs the relationship was in danger”.

They added: “They were very happy, laughing and being affectionate with each other.”

They also shared a kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower and Collins was spotted clutching a red rose.

Their outing comes as Argent broke his silence on their split, telling OK! he believes they should seek couples’ therapy.

“I want to spend my life with Gemma and I want us to have kids, but for that to happen we need to change the way we can be with each other,” he said.

“We haven’t spoken about it but I think it would be good for us to have some couples counselling if we do get back together.”

He said he was left feeling “ashamed” at sending nasty messages about his girlfriend’s weight as he now weighs more than her after she lost two stone while taking part in Dancing on Ice.

“They were sent in the heat of the moment,” he told OK! “We were having a huge row because she was angry with me for posting the video of her snoring on social media. She’d kicked me out of her flat and things got nasty between us.

“I have problems with my own weight so I’m the last person who should be trying to fat shame. It’s a bit pot, kettle, black.”

The split came as Collins’ mother Joan Collins was admitted to hospital with pneumonia and Gemma was forced to call the police after claiming she was being stalked by a man who had targeted her online and hurled vile abuse at her in public.
