Adam Snyder looks set to be the next big singer/songwriter crossover success
5 April 2012

Adam Snyder walked away from avant-garde alternative rockers Mercury Rev to write melodic, gentle, folk tunes as a solo singer/songwriter — and surprisingly, this transformation has been a successful one.

With his debut album Across the Pond, the New York native has combined warm, lush tunes with an intimate first-person narrative that led the Times magazine to hail him as 'a cross between Jonathan Richman and Neil Young in his acoustic prime.'

With his new single Leaves of Grass out on 29 March, it seems there’s no better time to catch this mellow tunesmith in action — and he’s performing a headline gig at The Enterprise in Chalk Farm this Tuesday (9th March).
