Win Seabiscuit premiere tickets

5 April 2012

This is London is offering one lucky reader a pair of tickets to the exclusive West End premiere of Seabiscuit on October 27.

Seabiscuit, directed by Gary Ross, is based on the best-selling book by Laura Hillenbrand and tells the uplifting story of the legendary American racehorse.

Set during the American Depression, it's a tale of three losers who come together to turn a no-hope nag into a world-class winner.

Seabiscuit's jockey is Johnny 'Red' Pollard (Tobey Maguire), considered to be too big for a jockey. The trainer is Tom Smith (Chris Cooper), a broken-down cowboy. And Seabiscuit's owner is a businessman named Charles Howard (Jeff Bridges), who has lost his fortune.

The movie is strongly tipped to be in the winner's enclosure at the Oscars and, when it screened in the US, literally had audiences out of their seats and cheering.

Apart from the premiere tickets, the winner will also receive a Seabiscuit watch, book and picnic rug!

We also have five Gallop Racer PS2 games - a racing managment video game - for runners-up.

This action-packed sports management title immerses the player in the exciting and fast-paced world of horse racing where they can tackle every aspect of the Sport of Kings, from breeding and training a thoroughbred to riding and even betting on the winner.

With a wealth of gaming options upon entering the racing arena - variety is the name of the game!
