Wolves deny Morrison bid

13 April 2012

Wolves today dismissed reports linking them with a £3million bid for Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison as "total rubbish".

Palace released a statement this morning which claimed: "Chairman Simon Jordan has turned down a bid of £3million from Wolves for striker Clinton Morrison."

Wolves chief executive Jes Moxey said: "There is no truth in this at all, it's totally untrue and total rubbish."

Queens Park Rangers have turned down Portsmouth's £1.5m bid for striker Peter Crouch. They want £2.5m.

Meanwhile, Millwall pair David Livermore and Irish Under-21 international Joe Dolan have signed extended contracts to remain with the newly promoted club until 2004.
