Watford tempted by tasty Mayo

Watford have signed Lincoln wing-back Paul Mayo.

Ray Lewington has watched Mayo in action for the Third Division club twice in the past three weeks. The Watford manager said: "We feel Paul can do a good job for us."

The deal for the 22-year-old player is initially for £65,000 with another £40,000 based on appearances.

Watford could have Heidar Helguson back to lead their attack away to Stoke tomorrow.
