Valencia winger Joaquin to discuss his future as Spurs and Everton wait

13 April 2012

Spanish star Joaquin, who has been linked with Spurs, will make a decision on his future this week.

The Valencia midfielder’s agent Eduardo Espejo said: 'There’s a lot going on at the club right now.

'We will be talking with them this week and then the player’s future will become more clear.'

Will Joaquin (right) be joining Spain team-mates Liverpool's Fernando Torres (left) and Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas in the Premier League?

The Spanish club are believed to have to sell players to balance their books and could be ready to offload the 26-year-old, who is valued at £16m.

Everton are also being linked with the Spain winger but there seems little chance of the 26-year-old moving to Merseyside because of the high fee he will command.
