Francis Ngannou took the UFC heavyweight strap with a savage knockout of Stipe Miocic at UFC 260.

The Cameroonian-French fighter faced Miocic for the second time after losing his title fight to the American at UFC 220 by unanimous decision. The fight in January 2018 went the distance, but Saturday night's bout only went 52 seconds into the second round.

Ngannou, the first UFC heavyweight champion from Africa, flattened Miocic twice early in the second having also won the first round. It marks a changing of the guard in the sport with Miocic considered the most accomplished heavyweight champion in UFC history.

Earlier in the night, former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley made it fours losses on the spin after being chocked out by Vicente Luque in the co-main event.

The crowd in Las Vegas included Megan Fox, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. Former UFC owners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta were also watching on, attending a fight night publicly for the first time since they sold the company in 2016.
