Test row erupts

Rugby authorities in England and France have joined forces in a row with the International Rugby Board over holding Test matches outside the autumn window.

Premier Rugby, the umbrella organisation for the 12 Zurich Premiership clubs, and their French equivalent are furious with the IRB and have written to them requesting a meeting.

The Scotland-Australia clash on 6 November has sparked animosity, with some clubs refusing to release players for the encounter.
