Andy Murray returns to Wimbledon as defending champion for just the second time as the third Grand Slam of the year gets under way.

The Scot has had a difficult 2017, but will look to put his form to one side and reproduce the tennis which helped him beat Milos Raonic in straight sets in last year's final.

Roger Federer is the bookmakers' favourite and appears back to his best, while there is a familiar look to the top four of the men's seedings.

It is the first time the quartet have locked out the top seeds since the 2014 Championships at SW19

The 2016 women's champion Serena Williams is absent because she is pregnant, while Briton Johanna Konta is seeded sixth.

But when does the action start?

This year's tournament starts on Monday, July 3. The women's final is scheduled for Saturday, July 15 with the men's final on Sunday, July 16.

Weather permitting, the first three rounds of the singles main draw should be complete by the end of play on the first Saturday, with no tennis scheduled for the middle Sunday before round four kicks off on Monday, July 10.
