London is still set to play host to the ATP Finals at the O2 Arena, even with limited or no spectators.

This year, the capital will stage the event for the last time before it relocates to Turin in 2021, ending an 11-year tenure at the venue.

Audiences of about a quarter of a million have attended the event each year at the 02 and organisers are hopeful that come its start date on November 15 there will be at least some spectators allowed in.

An ATP spokesman told the Daily Mail: “Our intention remains for the season to finish with the ATP Finals in London, including the scenario of the event being held with reduced or no fans.

“We are working on the final section of the provisional 2020 calendar and expect a further update by the end of July.”
