Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly were allegedly kidnap targets for a terrorist group.

India's two highest profile cricketers figured on a 'hit list' compiled by the organisation that claimed responsibility for an attack on the American Center in Calcutta earlier this month, according to a newspaper report here.

Security around the two players, which is always high, was "beefed up" more than a week ago.
