With Superbowl 50 just a few weeks away the NFL has launched its biggest ever competition in the UK to celebrate one of sport’s biggest contests.

The second round of the playoffs takes place this weekend as eight sides battle it out to move on to their respective championship games and to take one step closer to the 7 February clash in Santa Clara.

As part of a week of celebrations in the UK, which will include an appearance by the Vince Lombardi trophy in London, fans can snap up 50 extraordinary prizes.

Those include a trip for two to Jacksonville to take in a Jaguars home game and the chance to watch a recording of James Corden’s Late Late show in Los Angeles.

If travel doesn’t appeal fans can also claim some more esoteric prizes, the highlight perhaps being the chance to win the weight of the Lombardi trophy (3.2kg) in Doritos.

Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK said: “This is by far the largest competition we’ve ever run here and celebrates just how important the UK has become to the NFL.

“The International Series games in London attract sell-out crowds and we have more than three million avid fans here in UK, a figure that is growing every year. This competition is a great chance for everyone in Britain to get involved in the world’s biggest sporting event.”
