Stevens back on the case

Matthew Stevens has had to find alternative accommodation during this year's Embassy world snooker championship.

Last year, Stevens was a house guest of Paul Hunter and his girlfriend Lyndsey Fell. But the UK champion is staying in a hotel while he and world No8 Hunter battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is level at 4-4 with Andy Hicks overnight while world No 16 Joe Perry produced a 145 total clearance as he took a 5-3 lead against defending champion Mark Williams.
