Snyman is put on standby

13 April 2012

South Africa are ready to recall Andre Snyman for Saturday's Tri- Nations Test against New Zealand in Auckland.

Snyman will play at outside centre if Robbie Fleck fails to recover from an ankle injury.

If Fleck is fit the side will be unchanged from the one which drew 14-14 with Australia on Saturday.

Snyman broke an ankle against the All Blacks in 1999 and suffered a similar injury to his other ankle a year later.
