Sevilla plan sales to launch Didier Zokora bid

Moving on? Didier Zakora looks like he will be leaving White Hart Lane
13 April 2012

Sevilla will make a final bid for Didier Zokora once they have raised the cash by offloading some of their own players.

Although Tottenham are prepared to let the midfielder leave, their £8million price tag has so far proved too high for Sevilla.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido is confident a deal will be reached but insists they will have to sell some of their own fringe players. He said: "We have a lot of money in the four or five players for whom we are trying to find a transfer. Everyone just has to stay calm."

Meanwhile, it is understood Jamie Redknapp's new coaching role under manager and his father, Harry Redknapp, will see him help with training three times a week.
