Saha gets French call

Manchester United striker Louis Saha has been called into France's squad for next week's friendly against Belgium but there was no room for Manchester City's Nicolas Anelka.

France play in Brussels on Wednesday Anelka had appealed in a newspaper interview to be given a fresh chance by Jacques Santini at international level.

But Anelka, capped 28 times before falling out with Santini, was not selected, and instead Saha - who joined United from Fulham last month for £12.8million - won the nod for the friendly international.
