Gavin Henson gets a kick-start

10 April 2012

Gavin Henson will display his kicking skills at Wembley today at a training session ahead of Saracens' Boxing Day clash with London Wasps at the home of English football.

Having completed his Strictly Come Dancing commitments, Henson is available to play and Brendan Venter, the outgoing director of rugby, is determined to build on the momentum created by his side's victory over Racing Metro in Paris on Friday achieved in driving snow.

The Aviva Premiership clash with Wasps will provide a boost to the Evening Standard's Dispossessed Fund. Sarries will give the proceeds from thousands of ticket sales to the initiative, which they have adopted as their charity for the season.

Tickets, costing just £10 for adults and £5 for Under-16s, are available from Ticketmaster, which is waiving its fee. The Dispossessed Fund is helping Londoners out of poverty.
