Richards fighting talk

Dean Richards is ready to bolster Tottenham's fight against relegation after coming through an hour in a reserve team victory over Charlton.

Richards has been sidelined in recent weeks by a combination of Achilles and virus problems but he hopes to be play against champions elect Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

He said: "I got a good 60 minutes under my belt. My mobility didn't feel too bad, so I'm pretty positive. The last time I was injured I came back too soon. This time I wanted to take my time and play a couple of reserve games but we're running out of time.

"We're also running out of games, so it's a case of if I'm needed, I'll be ready to play.

"The virus affected me after training. I felt sick and kept getting dizzy spells and it was affecting my balance. It was nasty."

Meanwhile, £6.25million misfit striker Helder Postiga limped out of the reserve clash after 20 minutes with a thigh injury.
