Park's United return on ice as frozen pitch scuppers comeback

Ji-Sung Park's bid to make a Christmas comeback has been scuppered by a frozen pitch.

United midfielder Park, 26, sidelined since March with a cruciate ligament injury, had been pencilled in to face Oldham in a reserve outing at Northwich Victoria yesterday in the Manchester Senior Cup but the game was called off just 40 minutes before kick-off.
