The Paralympics are set to get underway this week and Team GB are aiming high - as usual.

A total of 121 medals were won by our athletes at London 2012 but the nation's 'strongest ever' Paralympics squad is hoping to go one better in Rio.

There are plenty of events for viewers to get stuck into and, in many cases, discover for the very first time.

Events will take place over 11 days and you can keep track of the moments you won't want to miss with Standard Sport's daily highlights.

Where to watch

Channel 4 will broadcast live coverage of the Paralympics Games. Clare Balding will be leading over 600 hours of coverage, with Lee McKenzie, Ade Adepitan, Sophie Morgan and JJ Chalmers among those bringing you daily coverage from Rio.
