MotoGP championship leader Jorge Lorenzo has a new contract that will keep him with Yamaha until the end of 2014.

The Spaniard joined the team in 2008 and won the world title in 2010 before finishing second behind Casey Stoner last year. He said: “My dream is to finish my career with Yamaha.”

Lorenzo, 25, is 20 points ahead of Stoner going into Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
