Offiah makes old mates pay

Martin Offiah scored his 500th try to help send his old London Broncos team-mates crashing to defeat at The Valley - then hinted that retirement is just around the corner.

The 35-year-old former Great Britain star scored twice as Salford hit back from 12-0 down to romp to a 37-14 victory.

Offiah said: "My contract is up at the end of the season and I am starting to get into other things so maybe this is the right time to retire."
