Nigerian nightmare for Premier League clubs

Premier League clubs face losing their Nigerian players for up to seven weeks in the new year.

Nigeria will have a training camp before the African Nations Cup, which gets under way in Ghana on January 20 and runs until February 10.

There could be 10 players from Premier League clubs called up, and Nigeria coach Berti Vogts said: 'There will be a two-week training camp and all the players will be there. They will not be allowed to arrive later.'
