Moss: Hamilton still in pole position

12 April 2012

Formula One great Sir Stirling Moss believes Lewis Hamilton will have put his Shanghai disappointment firmly behind him when he lines up for the Brazilian Grand Prix in just under two weeks' time.

Hamilton blew his first opportunity to seal the World Championship at the Chinese Grand Prix when he slithered off the pit-lane entrance and into a gravel trap as he came in for his second pitstop.

But Moss told BBC Sport: "His preparation will not be any different for the next race, he will do exactly the same as he did in the first race - he is that brilliant."

He added: "The good news is that even though a world title hangs on the Brazil race, I'll bet it doesn't change his outlook at all.

"He will just go out there and do what he can, and he does it better than anyone else, let's face it."
