Moorcroft calls for drug tests review

David Moorcroft, chief executive of UK Athletics, called for changes to drug testing procedures today after it was claimed a quarter of British athletes failed to make themselves available for tests in the last year.

UK Sport's annual doping report is expected to show nearly 200 samples were never collected by anti-doping officers because athletes were not at the addresses they supplied. Moorcroft wants testers to leave calling cards to notify athletes when they have visited.
