Middlesex include duo

14 April 2012

Middlesex have added pace bowler Melvyn Betts and left-arm spinner Chris Peploe to the side which drew with Surrey in the last round of Frizzell County Championship matches for the visit of Glamorgan.

Opening batsman Andrew Strauss is still absent on international duty but John Emburey's Division One side will be looking for more runs from former England Test batsman Ed Smith, who struck two half-centuries against Surrey at the top of the order.

Experienced medium-pace bowler Alan Richardson is fit to continue after his heroics against Surrey when he claimed six wickets and will take the new ball with Indian Test star Irfan Pathan.
