Manchester United v Tottenham

13 April 2012

(3pm Saturday, Old Trafford).
Away ticket info: Sold out
Last season:3 (Solskjaer, Beckham, Sheringham) 1 (Armstrong)
Fact: The last player to score a hat-trick in this fixture was Andy Ritchie in 1980
Recommended pub: The Tollgate (Seymour Grove)
With 11 goals in the Premiership, Teddy Sheringham heads the hot-shots list and seems to be playing better than ever. Spurs fans will appreciate just how intelligent a player Sheringham is and, at the moment, the striker seems an outstanding candidate for Footballer of the Year. Somehow, George Graham must find a way of keeping Sheringham and his team-mates quiet tomorrow. However, the Spurs manager will have been heartened, though, by a couple of useful home wins and by the form of Les Ferdinand, who finally got his ball back following the hat-trick against Leicester last weekend.
VERDICT: TEDDY'S TOPS
