Liverpool v Charlton

14 April 2012

(3pm Saturday, Anfield).
Tickets: Sold out
Fact: Liverpool have never failed to score in a home game against Charlton
Recommended pub: The Salisbury (121 Walton Breck Road)
Charlton looked fallible at home for the first time this season when they came a cropper to Sunderland and now face a tough trip to Liverpool, who will be in feisty form following their ritual slaughtering of Stoke in midweek. The Addicks' form away from The Valley isn't encouraging, with five defeats from their seven matches, although manager Alan Curbishley will still be expecting an altogether more vibrant display from his team than that against Sunderland. Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premiership at Anfield, though, and tomorrow's challenge for Curbishley's men could be as testing as a London to Nottingham train journey.
VERDICT: ADDICKS DRAW A BLANK
