Ling: End of the line

Martin Ling has finally admitted defeat in his attempt to guide Leyton Orient to the Third Division play-offs.

Orient slipped to 11th following their 1-1 draw with Kidderminster and are eight points off the top seven with 10 games to go.

Ling said: "We've dropped two points, the play-offs are not happening and it's a case of fighting to stay in the top half of the table.

"We're working hard and competing but the creativity was minimal and we didn't pass the ball at all."

Ling is considering appealing against David Hunt's dismissal for an off-the-ball clash with Kidderminster's Dean Keates.
