Knights must beat Steelers this time

Paul Fielder13 April 2012

London Knights face Sekonda Superleague leaders Sheffield Steelers in a game they must win at the London Arena tonight.

The Steelers lead the ice hockey league by 18 points but a win tonight will give the Knights a glimmer of hope of catching them for they have two games in hand and tonight's game is the first of four meetings between the two teams.

Steelers won 3-1 on their last visit to Docklands in November but Knights' head coach Chris McSorley is optimistic about his team's chances tonight.

He said: "We must win this one. We have enough games left in the season to catch Sheffield."

Defenceman Aaron Boh will make his first home start for London after making his debut in London's 4-1 defeat against the Belfast Giants on Saturday.

The face-off for tonight's game is at 7pm and tickets can be obtained by calling: 020 7538 1212.
