Kanchelskis hints at Rangers exit

13 April 2012

Rangers winger Andrei Kanchelskis insists that his time is up at the club unless he returns to the first team.

The Russian has not started a game for the Ibrox club since October and admits that his tenure in Glasgow will come to an end at the season's end.

"After the break here, I will see if I am playing or not. If I don't play, maybe I will speak to my agent because I want to play for the team," said Kanchelskis.

"But, as I have already said, the decision is for the manager not for me."

Kanchelskis and manager Dick Advocaat fell out after the 32-year-old refused to play for the Rangers under-21 side.

But the former Manchester United and Everton winger insists that there is no animosity between the two men now despite Kanchelskis being frozen out of the first team picture.
