Hull edge past Broncos

Hull continued their push for a place in the play-offs with a battling 28-12 victory over top-five hopefuls London at the Boulevard.  

Tony Smith and Steve Prescott both ran in two tries each for the hosts, who had taken a 12-0 lead into the interval.

And it was the boot of Prescott with his six goals during the match which ensured Hull claimed the points to take them third after London rallied in the second period, scoring through Robert Parker and Glen Air.

Paul Sykes added two goals for the Broncos.
