Horak sets up Maori clash

England A booked their place in the Churchill Cup final against New Zealand Maori next weekend with a comfortable 48-23 victory over Canada in Calgary last night.

But London Irish full-back Mike Horak knows the team need to make big improvements if they are to win on Saturday.

He scored England's first try and made a string of incisive runs. But England A's tackling left much to be desired.

Horak said: "It was our first proper run-out as a team and we were a bit disjointed. There's a lot to work on. We know that if we play like that next week we'll get hammered.

"We've got to jack up all aspects of our game. All round, we need a total refurbishment and upgrade of our game. That's what's needed to beat the Maori."
