Hoddle fears Old Trafford test

Tottenham have an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow night's Premiership match at Manchester United.

Les Ferdinand who has scored 14 goals this season, Simon Davies, Tim Sherwood and Oyvind Leonhardsen are all doubtful starters. Darren Anderton and Steffen Iversen have already been ruled out.

Manager Glenn Hoddle said: "The squad is dwindling and one place you want to go with your strongest team is Old Trafford. It doesn't look like we'll be able to do that."

Hoddle is hopeful that his injured players will recover in time for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final tie with Chelsea at White Hart Lane.

Davies, rated as "50-50" by Hoddle, received a kick on the calf during Saturday's win over Sunderland and Ferdinand also picked up a knock.

Meanwhile Stephen Clemence, who has been out for seven months with a groin injury, played the full 90 minutes of a reserve team game last night.
