Henman feels heat in bid to complete his collection

Tim Henman has arrived in Melbourne for the latest attempt to complete a set of Grand Slam semi-final appearances.

Having reached the last four of the French and US Opens last year and being a regular semi-finalist at Wimbledon, the Australian Open, which begins next Monday, is the only one missing from his collection.

Henman was troubled by a stiff back over the winter and was concerned that the 24-hour flight might take its toll. "It seems to be fine," said the British No1. "My focus now is get used to the conditions. It will take a while to get used to the heat."

Henman plays in the Kooyong Classic exhibition event starting on Wednesday.
