Harris prepared to stay

13 April 2012

Millwall manager Mark McGhee emphasised once again that star striker Neil Harris would not be sold after his hat-trick in the 6-1 demolition of Colchester.

Harris has now scored 17 goals this season for the Second Division leaders and Millwall recently rejected a £2.5 million bid from Preston.

McGhee knows there will be further attempts to lure Harris away but said: "He is not going anywhere. We'll see where we are when the season finishes. He is totally behind our ideas.

"He has actually been going through a lean spell and not everything has been coming off for him. But he scored at Bournemouth on Saturday and he was a completely new man against Colchester."
