French change a winning side

14 April 2012

France have recalled Imanol Harinodoquy, Yannick Jauzion and Aurelien Rougerie and named uncapped full-back Julien Laharrague to face Wales on Saturday week.

"Even though we won at Twickenham we think there were a lot of bad points," coach Bernard Laporte said. "Of course, it's cruel to drop players after a win over England but if we want to rebuild a team for the 2007 World Cup now is the time to test new players."

Biarritz No8 Harinordoquy, Toulouse centre Jauzion and Montferrand winger Rougerie have won 86 caps between them. Harinordoquy and Jauzion missed the first two games through injury.
