'You little fat pig!' - Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner accused of drunken rant at taxi driver

13 March 2014

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner threatened a taxi driver with a belt during a drunken rampage on the night his team-mates played Bayern Munich in the Champions League, it was claimed today.

He is said to have gone “berserk” in Copenhagen on Tuesday, pulling down his trousers and telling a taxi driver: “I will f*** you,” calling him a “little whore” and “fat pig” before rubbing himself against the car.

Danish newspaper BT said Bendtner, 26, currently out with a knee injury, began his rant after the driver asked him and his friends to get out because of their behaviour.

He picked them up from a restaurant that had been showing the match. It ended 1-1 but Arsenal lost on aggregate and went out of the Champions League.

The unnamed cabbie said: “They were quite drunk. I can see the radio has been kicked loose. They have also taken a ... CD holder and when I ask to have it back Bendtner loses it.

“He says if he wasn’t so well known he would smash me up and calls me ‘small fat pig’ ... Bendtner is stood outside my window and starts to un-button his pants. He also takes his belt off and starts whipping the taxi while he is rubbing himself against the window shouting he wants to f*** me.”

Bendtner’s agents Q9 sports and his PR representative Elisa Lykke did not comment.

Arsenal said it would treat allegations “very seriously".

In November the Denmark international was cautioned for criminal damage at his apartment block in Bushey.
