Nigeria vs Iceland | World Cup 2018, Group D | Friday, June 22 | Volgograd Arena

Iceland have a golden chance to take a big step towards the knockout stages of the World Cup as they take on Group E rivals Nigeria this afternoon.

The nation with the smallest population at the World Cup stunned Argentina as Lionel Messi missed a penalty in a 1-1 draw in the opening group game before Croatia's 3-0 win over La Albiceleste leaves things wide open for Iceland if they can get a result on Friday.

Nigeria headed to Russia with other nations in awe of their kit, but the Super Eagles were poor in a 2-0 defeat against Croatia and must get a result to avoid an early exit.
