Gareth Southgate received a huge boost ahead of England’s World Cup semi-final against Croatia on Wednesday after every member of his squad took part in training today.

As England prepare for their biggest match since they reached the last four of Italia 90, Southgate was able to report a clean bill of health — easing fears that hamstring pain had put Jordan Henderson at risk of missing the game in Moscow.

The Liverpool midfielder was substituted towards the end of the 2-0 win over Sweden due to the issue but expressed confidence that he would be able to play at the Luzhniki Stadium.

If possible, Southgate plans to name an unchanged XI for the third successive match.

England had just two full training sessions in Repino before travelling to Moscow tomorrow afternoon.

Probable XI

England (3-3-2-2): Jordan Pickford; Kyle Walker, John Stones, Harry Maguire; Kieran Trippier, Jordan Henderson, Ashley Young; Jesse Lingard, Dele Alli; Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling
