Brazilian Blues: Oscar, David Luiz, Ramires and Willian all made the squad

Luiz Felipe Scolari has named four Chelsea players in his provisional Brazil World Cup squad, more than from any other club.

Chelsea stars Ramires, Willian, David Luiz and Oscar all made the cut as did Tottenham’s Paulinho and Manchester City’s Fernandinho.

QPR’s goalkeeper Julio Cesar, currently on loan at Toronto FC, has also been selected, along with former Manchester City and Everton striker Jo.

There was disappointment however for Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva and Philippe Coutinho who were omitted by the former Chelsea boss.

Scolari could also find no room for Kaka, Ronaldinho and Robinho, who have 276 caps between them, and PSG's €45m signing Lucas Moura.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Toronto FC), Jefferson (Botafogo), Victor (Grêmio)

Defenders: Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Maicon (Internazionale), Marcelo(Real Madrid), Maxwell (Paris Saint-Germain), David Luiz (Chelsea), Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain), Dante (Bayern Munich), Henrique (Napoli)

Midfielders: Paulinho (Tottenham), Ramires (Chelsea), Fernandinho (Manchester City), Oscar (Chelsea), Willian (Chelsea), Luiz Gustavo(Wolfsburg), Hernanes (Internazionale), Bernard (Shakhtar Donetsk)

Forwards: Fred (Fluminense), Neymar (Barcelona), Hulk (Zenit St Petersburg), Jo (Atlético Mineiro)
