Who is Sead Kolasinac? Everything you need to know about about Arsenal's new signing

Arsenal have made their first moves of the summer transfer market by the arrival of Sead Kolasinac on a five-year deal.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international will arrive on a free transfer on July 1, when his contract at Bundesliga outfit Schalke expires.

The 23-year-old is the Gunners' first new face since Arsene Wenger finally confirmed his own future by signing a two-year deal, with the manager since outlining his aim to sign three players this summer.

Monaco star Kylian Mbappe is another target, with a £87million bid - double Arsenal's £42m transfer record - already rejected by the Ligue 1 champions.

Arsenal confirmed the move with a short statement, while Schalke added on their own website: "In his 123 Schalke games, the left back played with full effort and commitment, taking on a starring role over the last season."
